The results of the conducted tests confirm that the number of live bacterial cultures in ProBactilardii® is consistent with the amount declared on the product label throughout the entire storage period, until the end of the product expiration date, when stored at room temperature (without the need to store in the refrigerator). Why is it so important to provide live strains of microorganisms? Because only live bacterial strains have the ability to adhere, i.e. adhere to the intestinal mucosa, which is a condition for their probiotic effect.

The study was carried out in real time covering 24 months: from the production date to the end of the product expiration date, in conditions corresponding to the storage conditions declared on the product label.

The stability test was performed in the Lallemand Health Solutions laboratory in Canada, in accordance with the international guidelines for pharmaceutical products ICH Q1A (R2). The ICH guidelines are the main applicable criteria for durability (stability) testing of pharmaceutical products. They were developed by the International Conference on Harmonization of Technical Requirements for Registration of Pharmaceuticals for Human Use (ICH.)
